Who We Are

Our Beginning

Born from the Ground Up

Our Mission

Promoting Social Peace, Mainstreaming Conflict Sensitivity, and Enhancing Well-being.

Our Approach

Power in People. Connected by Purpose.

Connecting Peace to
Sustainable Development

Peace is not just a goal
it's the foundation.

At Threads of Peace, we believe that building peaceful and inclusive societies is essential to achieving all the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our work is rooted in SDG 16: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions, which acts as both a catalyst and a connector for progress across health, education, equality, and poverty reduction.
Through community-driven initiatives that promote trust, inclusion, and civic engagement, we help turn peace into a living, local force for sustainable change. Every step we take supports not just SDG 16, but a broad ecosystem of goals, proving that when peace grows, so does opportunity.

Peace empowers development.

Development sustains peace.

Multidimensional Peacebuilding

Through three core programs, we work with communities to build trust, resolve conflict, and promote sustainable peace.

Pathways to Peace

Earth Pulse - نبض الأرض

This initiative brought together people from different nationalities in Wadi El Jamous, Majdala, and beyond, to address chronic power outages and farming challenges. By installing solar panels, they secured clean energy for homes, irrigation, and lighting public paths—transforming local safety and agricultural productivity.

Green Hands - أيادي خضراء

This initiative combined education, agriculture, and social support by selling affordable seasonal produce while offering training on agricultural practices. It also distributed free produce to low-income families from multiple nationalities, directly addressing food access and financial hardship.

Green Lands - الأراضي الخضراء

This initiative fostered social harmony by engaging people from diverse backgrounds in collaborative land work and maintenance of public facilities. By offering free plowing to local farmers who couldn’t afford it, the project not only supported livelihoods but also helped build stronger community ties and collective resilience.

Threads of Hope - خيوط الأمل

This women-led initiative empowered selected participants through specialized peacebuilding workshops and vocational training in cooking, embroidery, and wellness care. It provided a safe space for cultural exchange, dialogue, and informal community gatherings—helping women build peace, economic independence, and lasting social connections.
